In Store - Approval Program 

Our intention at Fino Lino is for our customers to enjoy their shopping experience and be happy with their purchase.  The approval program has been designed to assist our valued customers in making informed buying decisions.

Feel confident that you may take almost any product home on approval for several days to ensure that it fits with your personal needs and Interior Design.  

Our Linen/Design Consultants have extensive product knowledge training. They are pleased to assist you in making informed buying decisions in the store or in your home. 

Gift Wrapping

Fino Lino Gift Wrap is distinctive and creative. We happily provide complementary gift wrapping on all regular price merchandise. 

Gift /Wedding Registry

Please make an appointment so we have the opportunity to personalize your registry. Gift wrapping, delivery in the Vancouver area and a guest discount are provided.

Delivery

We try our best to deliver packages in the Vancouver area.  Larger furniture and assembly should be done by a trusted moving/ installation company. Please contact us for a quote.

International shipping may also be arranged and will be quoted on larger pieces.

Special Order Service

Most special orders will arrive in 4 to 8 weeks. Custom orders from Europe usually arrive in 8 to 12 weeks. A 50% deposit is taken on all special orders and the balance is due on delivery.

We track all special orders to ensure timely delivery, but are not responsible for product discontinuation or delays.

International Orders and Shipping

 Canadian Orders/ Customers are subject to pay all applicable taxes.

  • US. Orders: Please be aware that customers in the US. will bear the sole responsibility for any taxes and duties your local customs office may charge. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. If you refuse any shipment from Fino Lino you are still responsible for original shipping costs as well as any duties, taxes and custom charges. The amount will be deducted from your merchandise credit. We cannot be responsible for any Customs actions (damage, duties, and fees) upon opening your package as well as any associated costs of returning the package to us.

Rush Shipping

Please let us know if your order is urgent as we may be able to ship directly through our supplier for faster service.  Rush shipping, including delivery time will be quoted and we will contact you right away within business hours.   

Dye Lots

May vary over time. Whenever possible it is best to purchase all items at the same time. Please check all linens before laundering and notify us immediately should the dye lots differ.

Product Satisfaction

We happily stand behind all our merchandise and value our Customers opinions. Please feel confident that we endeavour to provide solutions that are helpful and timely. We welcome all your comments and use them as a foundation for our extensive staff training program.

We encourage you to inspect all bedding and towels before laundering to ensure that they are what you desired. Check dye lots, size and weaving. Linen fabrics may have natural slubs which are considered desirable. Manufacturer guarantees are honoured on product that has not been altered or laundered. Return or exchanges must be approved by the supplier and in some cases will be sent to an independent lab for testing. Proper washing instructions are provided to ensure the long-term beauty of linens.

Sale

Our bi-annual sales are in January and August . A pre-sale registry is available to our customers. Mailing/E-mail / Customer Files/Credit Cards

Our valued customer data base is secure. We are happy to communicate with our customers by email, phone or post. Please advise us how you prefer to receive information.

Sewing

We are capable of making small alterations in house on product purchased from Fino Lino.  Custom and complex sewing will be provided by an outside workroom.  Sewing is done to European standards unless otherwise specified.  The customer will be asked to approve and sign the final sewing order.

Embroidery/Monograms

Traditional hand-guided machine embroidery techniques are offered featuring flat or raised satin-stitch in a full range of thread colours.  Personal or Family monograms will be designed in domestic and European workrooms and may take 6-12 weeks.
Standard embroidery techniques are also available. Personalized items are not returnable. 

Hospitality/Hotel

Fino Lino has numerous sources for unusual and fine quality linens, down products and accessories for commercial use.
Our talented in-house staff will fully customize the order to your specifications.
