James Bay Wild Goose Down Duvet

Certificate of Authenticity:
A Certificate of Authenticity is included with every James Bay duvet. It certifies that 100% of the down inside has been collected by Cree First Nations from wild Canada Geese.

Hypoallergenic guarantee:
All St. Genève down items are ZURGUARD® certified hypoallergenic or St. Genève will accept the return of the item within five years from the date of purchase.

Down certification:
- DOWNMARK® certified. The DOWNMARK® label assures consumers that a down product is authentic, ethically sourced and Canadian made.

Down evenness guarantee:
- These down duvets are crafted with St. Genève's proprietary Valved Baffle Box System, which significantly limits down drifting between compartments. In the unlikely event that noticeable down drifting occurs, they will adjust it under warranty, for the life of the duvet.

Warmth guarantee:
- St. Genève winter weight down duvets are guaranteed to be warm enough for a period of 10 years, or St. Genève will add more down at no charge. The duvet must have been reasonably cared for, labels are attached and that a duvet cover has been used at all times. Please note that down cannot be removed from a duvet. Lighter weight duvets are not guaranteed for warmth.

Fabric certification:
- The fabric is certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® – Class 1. The OEKO-TEX ® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textiles that ensures that no harmful substances were used in the making of the fabrics.

Materials and workmanship guarantee:
- St. Genève duvets are covered by guarantees against any defect in materials and workmanship, provided that the duvet has been reasonably cared for, labels are attached and that a clean duvet cover has been used at all times. The guarantee is 20 years for down filled duvets.

*please note the Lyocell/cotton blend fabric option is not recommended to be used with white duvet covers, as the wild goosedown color shows through this light fabric and will slightly dull white covers.

Only clean a duvet if it is soiled. With careful use, a down duvet should only require cleaning every 5-10 years, if at all.

Take it to a reputable cleaner with experience cleaning down filled duvets.

A duvet can be washed or dry-cleaned; the method depends on the nature of the soiling. While it can be done, we do not recommend washing a duvet at home as domestic washers and dryers are too small and agitators can tear the duvet.
