We are very pleased to announce that we have sold the retail business to Gaelle Hobbs effective November 1, 2022. Gaelle has played many roles in the business including Store Manager for the last 18 years and will continue to contribute her vast experience, design talent and skills as the new owner.
We are delighted to turn Fino Lino over to Gaelle and her team, and feel very confident that they will continue to deliver the same exceptional service, design and product that Fino Lino is famous for. The retail showroom will remain in the same convenient, beautiful location at 2715 Arbutus Street in Vancouver.
When we started Fino Lino in 1990 we had no idea what a fulfilling experience it would be and are very grateful for the support of our many wonderful customers and vendors. Creating beauty, leading edge design and sourcing exceptional textiles, furniture and decorative accessories from around the world has brought us immense pleasure, truly an experience that will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community near and far and to provide a platform for our many iconic vendors and leave knowing that the legacy will continue.
William and I are looking forward to having more time to pursue our personal interests and to enjoy the next stage of our journey.

It is with great joy and gratitude that I am taking on the mantle of owner and director at Fino Lino, continuing the incredible legacy that Lauren and Bill have created.
I originally joined Fino Lino in 2004, having just arrived in Canada from the UK and France with a background in costume and retail. I gained an appreciation for fine craftsmanship in the costume department of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and for innovation and pushing the boundaries of retail at Selfridges, and was delighted to find an environment that combines creativity with a commitment to the highest quality in materials and artistry.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of sharing this passion for fabrics and design with many of you, and cherish the wonderful conversations and the fabulous array of creative projects that have arisen from it.
I look forward to upholding the ethos of Fino Lino together with our talented team, embracing and seeking out the finest textiles and accessories, nurturing creativity, and most of all bringing joy through comfort and beauty.
